2kg box of grapes grown without pesticides or herbicides and certified organic. Bunches weigh between 500g and 750g.
Organoleptic characteristics
Our green grapes have a slightly elongated shape, while the red grapes are rounder. Both are crisp in the mouth and have a sweet taste. Both varieties are naturally seedless.
Conservation
Two to three weeks under good conditions. Store them cool and bring them to room temperature before consumption. Grapes do not continue to ripen after harvest, so they must be harvested fully ripe to ensure the best quality for consumption. On the day of shipping, we harvest optimally ripe grapes. We pack them in recycled cardboard boxes - completely plastic-free - and send them on their way the same day.
Harvest Calendar
In the first two weeks of August, the red grapes are ripe, and from mid-August, we can also harvest the green grapes. You will receive the fruits in your box that have reached their optimal ripeness.
Origin
Hacienda San Alberto
This estate, which is adjacent to our 170-hectare Verger de Alicia, is located 40 km northwest of Valencia. We are located on a gently rising hill at the foot of the Sierra Calderona Natural Park, 300 meters above sea level, facing due south and protected from the northerly winds by the imposing mountain range. Since 2016, the estate has been farmed in accordance with European Union organic farming regulations. It is certainly one of the largest estates of its kind in the Valencian Community. The land as a whole features a wide variety of plots and crops. In the lower part, there's the vegetable zone, where we also grow tomatoes and yellow kiwis.
Divided into several sections, 15 hectares are devoted to almond, olive and carob trees. Finally, in the highest part of the estate, 35 hectares of Mediterranean pine forest are home to the beehives responsible for pollinating our trees.
